About me!
So as some of you may know, I'm not the best at blogging but I felt like I really should begin one to share all experiences with wonderful people/clients I get to work with and some things that inspire me. I hope you all enjoy reading!
I will start off by introducing myself, I'm Chrisanne! I'm a photographer based out of St. Petersburg and Tampa, FL. I grew up here in St. Pete and I love being a part of the developing, creative community this city has to offer. My love for photographing started at an early age. My mother gave me her Canon AE-1 and I began to experiment with it. I loved that camera, it's still my favorite to shoot with. Photographing really gave me a sense of perspective and communication not only with myself but with my environment and surroundings. It became so much more than a career choice but rather a lifestyle. Early on, I started off just shooting analog and developing film and loved every minute of it. It disciplined me to trust my skills and taught me patience. While I do think digital has transformed our photographic world, I still think film is the best :) Developing in the darkroom or shooting with a medium format camera really made me fall in love with photography. If you've seen my work, you know that I love photographing people. People are my favorite subjects and I'm all about connection. I think everyone has a unique and defining response to the camera and it makes it worth capturing every moment. I began shooting weddings about three years ago and I found that it really is a passion of mine. Working with people and capturing important moments in their life can blossom into something magical. Some other little things about me is that I love nature and exploring, come to my house and I'll make you coffee and show off my excessive plant collection. Being apart of such an artisitic community, I enjoy collaborating with other photographers and artists. Networking, socializing and making art of any kind is awesome. Yeah and I'm a big foodie (especially Thai food). On a typical day off you can find me exploring outside, enjoying the day or snuggling up on the couch with a cup of tea and a good movie. I try to enjoy the little moments of life that tend to go unnoticed. Having the privilege to do what I love for a living is amazing and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. My clients are THE BEST for allowing me to capture such important and intimate moments in their life. I only hope that I can be chosen to capture more! Well that's all for now! Thanks for reading :) more blog posts to come.
Much love,
Chrisanne
